This is a senior leadership role for an individual who combines deep SaaS market knowledge with strategic vision and team leadership skills.

Job Description:

As the Director of Business Development, you will own LinenTech’s global growth strategy, from identifying new market opportunities and partnerships to building and leading a high-performing business development team. You will report directly to the executive leadership and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to expand LinenTech’s footprint in the commercial laundry and textile service industries.

You must understand SaaS business models, ERP systems, RFID/IoT technologies, and B2B enterprise sales processes. You will shape our go-to-market approach while ensuring that our platform's unique technical capabilities are effectively communicated to key stakeholders in target industries such as hospitality, healthcare, and industrial laundries.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute LinenTech’s global business development strategy, including new market entry, partnership development, and channel sales initiatives.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential markets, verticals, and geographies for expansion based on data analysis and industry trends.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, C-level executives, industry leaders, and potential technology partners.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of Business Development Managers and Sales Development Representatives; set targets, monitor performance, and drive team success.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product and Marketing teams to refine value propositions based on regional market needs, technological developments (such as RFID tracking, SaaS architecture, API integrations), and customer pain points.
  • Represent LinenTech at industry events, trade shows, and global conferences, positioning the company as a thought leader in commercial laundry software innovation.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies (IoT, RFID, automation, cloud solutions) and competitive SaaS trends to adjust strategy proactively.
  • Work with the executive team to establish forecasting models, pipeline targets, and market penetration goals aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, enterprise-level deal structuring, and partnership agreements.
  • Deliver consistent reporting on pipeline status, revenue projections, and market insights to the leadership team.
Requirements
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Strategic Partnerships within a B2B SaaS, ERP, or supply chain technology environment.
  • Proven success in building and scaling business development teams across multiple regions or markets.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to deeply understand and communicate complex SaaS features such as RFID-enabled inventory management, API integrations, cloud infrastructure, and mobile platform capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; experience managing C-level relationships and closing enterprise-level SaaS deals.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in market sizing, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategy development.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings, industry events, and market expansion efforts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
